Land acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the land on which we live and work is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat people, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people.

We recognize the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples on this land and reaffirm our commitment to reconciliation, justice, and solidarity. As educators and workers, we honour the knowledge, cultures, and histories of Indigenous communities and strive to build a more inclusive and equitable future for all children and families.
